MATRIX 2 and 3 SEQUEL SCRIPTS

MATRIX 2 (Reloaded)
Neo enters the Matrix from time to time to arrange for broadcast signals in media (ie: TV, Radio and Internet) that recruits other people who are gifted and inquisitive as to 'what is the Matrix?'. He modifies the Matrix to show people glimpses of the truth and performs miracles in daylight to sow seeds of doubt in their minds. Neo also visits Zion and is worshipped as a hero although he feels uncomfortable in that role. Zion is a dark hot place that shows humans living meagerly. Some are defiant of the Matrix, a small portion want to return and there are mixed feelings about the pod people. Many people are angry at their forefathers for putting them in this predicament. While in Zion Neo meets some new characters who represent the different factions of the city population:

While in Zion a master plan is hatched to defeat the machines. A coordinated attack will be launched and the first phase is as follows:
Trinity enters the Matrix and assembles the recruits that they have been cultivating for a mass exodus from the Matrix via the same route as Neo took (pill). As the last batch of the new recruits are being rescued from the sewer they are captured along with Trinity by the flying sentinels and are taken to the main computer complex city.
Neo enters the Matrix and tries to disrupt the essence of the program and becomes a "virus". He eventually finds and fights a "super-agent" who is the anti-virus program and can morph into different forms of creatures. As Neo is defeating the super-agent via super Kung-Fu and flying (ala Superman) the AI mainframe realizes that the Matrix program will "crash" and so decides to "re-boot" the Matrix hoping to kill Neo in the process. However, Neo has anticipated this and exits right before the re-boot through a "backdoor" he had set up before.
Meanwhile, Tank has led an assault on the pod fields. They surround a pod to fight off the sentinels by force. On the Matrix re-boot warning signal they remove the body within and put the head plug into the portable (though large) computer they have brought and intercept the downloaded Matrix program. They escape amid much gunfire.

Upon return to Zion they are ready to try and implement phase 2 of their master plan.

MATRIX 3 (Revolutions)

Now that the full version of the Matrix program is in the human hands work begins in earnest to defeat the AI. Adam and Joshua's computer team work to modify the code so as to disable agents and enable easier access and exits for humans. The recruits are put through agent combat training like Neo was. They are sent in and out of the Matrix frequently to learn as much as they can about the agents and discover the building where the agents work is the access point for the main input from the AI program. Also, there has been growing unrest in the Matrix as minds are confused as to "reality" which is being manipulated by the new recruits. There is a large buildup in Zion of human troops as well for an assault on the computer complex to be led by Morpheus, Lucifer and Adam. The location has been estimated by triangulation of signals and monitoring of sentinel movements. Their plan is to scope out the power lines and circuits, find the location of the central AI computer and install the modified Matrix program. As a last resort Lucifer has a secret agenda to blow up the computer complex.

As Trinity is being tortured to reveal the exact location of Zion she overhears the main AI telling the robot that there will be an updated Matrix installed that prevents hacks, has a better anti-virus program and introduces a "plague" to kill all deviant minds. Trinity realizes she must escape with this information and warn the resistance. She convinces the robots to place her in the Matrix and she will lead them to the Oracle. She enters the Matrix with many agents at her side. However, the Oracle has foreseen this and has surrounded herself with gifted ones. She makes a speech about humans not giving up and then Neo and some recruits fly in and there is a kick-ass fight. During the fight Trinity tells Neo of the AI plan. Just after that a robot on the surface kills Trinity. Neo realizes that there is no time to lose. He rounds up the recruits and heads for the agent building. If they can secure that point they can accept the download of the human Matrix program. At the building there is much Kung-Fu, guns and explosions but Neo is pissed and he prevails.

Back at the computer complex, Morpheous, Adam, Lucifer and troops are blasting and EMPing closer to the main CPU. The closer they get the less the EMP works although the robots have never faced physical human resistance and are not experts at combat. Morpheous dies doing some heroic thing to get very close to the main CPU. Lucifer decides the best chance for success is to blow up the complex but is forcibly persuaded by Adam and his followers to wait. Adam hacks into the Matrix via a computer terminal and contacts Neo, informs him of Morpheous death and their current predicament. Neo decides to go for broke. He tells Adam to be ready to implement the human Matrix program quickly. Neo summons all his powers to shape the Matrix and broadcasts 'THE TRUTH' simultaneously to everyone as a revelation. As the truth is absorbed by a million minds there begins to be overloaded circuits and failing power and so the main CPU decides to abort the Matrix and switch to the improved Matrix before it crashes. As it attempts to re-boot, Adam splices in the human Matrix program and Lucifer and his troops kill off the mindless drone robots and destroys by an explosion the main CPU of which the Matrix was only a part of.

Alas, Neo has perished in the re-boot as his mind did not make the transfer to the new Matrix cleanly as did not 50% of the other humans who also died. On his way out of the complex Adam notices a chart on the wall with a map of the Earth that has about 20 circles lit up with only one of them dark. To his horror he realizes that there are 19 other computer complexes around the globe running a Matrix. Upon leaving, Adam sees a ray of sunshine through the clouds and realizes a new day dawns in the fight for mankind's freedom.
